Dix-Sept Ans

In the two days since I was last at the docks they've raised a boat that's been under water for 17 years. They use these enormous tanks of acetyline that were carefully slid down a staircase by three men to fuel their blowtorches, and they were hacking the boat to pieces for scrap metal. Apparently there's two more underwater in the Congo River awaiting the same fate.
